Professor Dora Mbanya, General Manager of the National Blood Transfusion Service ( NBTS) has presented the current status and perspectives of the NBTS towards 100% Voluntary Non-Remunerated Blood Donors.
The two - day seminar will also see participants gaining knowledge on how and when to recruit and retain Donors, blood transfusion reactions, the impact of blood donor's association in the health care system amongst others.
