The Cercle des Hémodialysés, an association of patients with health conditions requiring constant dialysis, has partnered with the National Blood Transfusion Service to launch a campaign promoting kidney health awareness. Given the critical need for blood transfusions among dialysis patients, the association's president, Njoya Isaac, emphasized the importance of encouraging Cameroonians to donate blood. To support this effort, a blood drive was organized alongside the campaign.

Held at the Marie Mère Médiatrice Parish in Etoudi, Yaounde, the event offered free consultations and screenings for individuals with kidney-related conditions. This initiative highlights the vital connection between kidney health and blood transfusion, and the role that blood donation plays in saving lives.
